If you think it's time you had a machine style rally Dakar, is probably a good idea to find this out this 2012 Local Motors Rally fighter that goes under the hammer today (02 November 2013) in the event of RKM collector Auto Auctions in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Powered by a V8 engine 430hp GM E-Rod LS3 376-inch cubic (6.2 liters) and with a huge suspension travel, this monster will say yes to any type of terrain that you miss in it. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission of T400 and complies with the standards on emissions in all 50 States.
It has dual adjustable ride height manually and a suspension lasts with King coilover shocks with slopes reservoirs, in addition to the upper and lower billet front control arms. At the rear, the monster all terrain has a rear suspension four link triangulated reverse.
All these combine to give to combat a huge 20-inch (5, 080mm) of suspension travel. To put this information into context, it should be noted that the overall height of the Rally is 70 inches (1. 778 mm). The style Coupé SUV depends on 33 (838mm)-inch Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires designed to deal with any type of terrain.
The fighter has a wrapped exterior vinyl saves 12 pounds (5.4 kg) to a conventional paint job. The interior has bucket seats black, air conditioning, and a GPS integrated in the dashboard.
This particular car was built for NASCAR team manager Ray Evernham, who has now decided forms part with him. Not driving it too, judging by the odometer reading only 470 miles (756). That's probably why RKMCCA estimates that the Rally fighter will be sold for anywhere between $100,000 (€74,060) and $125,000 (€92.570).
